HERMÈS
In 2018, Lucas Sellier developed a leather goods collection with Hermès as part of a design project focused on the Maison’s material culture and craftsmanship codes.
The work centered on leather accessories designed through the lens of Ivy League–inspired silhouettes, incorporating Hermès’ characteristic materials, leathers, and passementerie techniques. Particular attention was given to construction, durability, and refined functional details, in continuity with the House’s approach to leather craftsmanship.
The project was conceived as a design and research exercise, exploring how established heritage codes could be translated into contemporary forms within a luxury leather goods context.
No public release or commercial communication was associated with this work.
