ATELIER SELLIER
Founded in 2020, Atelier Sellier was conceived as an artisanal leather goods project dedicated to traditional French craftsmanship.
Each piece was individually handmade in France by Lucas Sellier, following the principles of couture sellier — an ancestral saddle-stitching technique historically practiced by his great-great-grandfather, a Sellier Garnisseur. Particular attention was given to hand construction, structural integrity, and the use of full-grain leathers assembled through traditional methods.
The project focused on small leather goods and essential accessories, developed through a research-driven approach to proportion, durability, and material expression. Atelier Sellier was notably carried by MERCI in Paris.
After three years of activity, Lucas chose to close the brand in order to pursue new creative directions.
